Accessing HTTPSTK When DS Is Not Loaded

You can set up a preconfigured admin user that allows access to the HTTP Protocol Stack
(HTTPSTK) when DS is not loaded. The preconfigured admin user, SAdmin, has rights that are
equivalent to the eDirectory Admin User object. If the server is in a state where eDirectory is not
functioning correctly, you can log in to the server as this user and perform all the diagnostic and
debugging tasks necessary that do not require eDirectory.

Setting the SAdmin Password on NetWare

Use NetWare Remote Manager to enable the SAdmin User object and set or change the password
for this object. HTTPSTK.NLM must be running on the eDirectory server in order for you to set
or change the SAdmin password.

Setting the SAdmin Password on Windows

Use the DHOST remote manager page (accessible through the /dhost URL or from the root page)
to set the SAdmin password. dhost.exe must be running on the eDirectory server in order for you
to set or change the SAdmin password.
