- Page 2 AXIS Q35 Dome Camera Series Impact on warranty This product is approved for repaint by Axis, provided that you follow the instructions in this document and at axis.com/warranty-implication-when-repainting. Risks with repainting There are several risks when disassembling or assembling an Axis product. Training of operators and the use of correct tools mediates some of the problems but they can never be fully avoided.
- Page 3 AXIS Q35 Dome Camera Series Repaint the product Preparations • If applicable, disassemble the device according to the instructions in this document. • Clean all parts that will be repainted thoroughly to remove grease, dust, or oil. • To ensure reassembly and functionality of the product, mask any openings (for example for screws, LED indicators, or microphones) before you paint.
- Page 4 AXIS Q35 Dome Camera Series Disassembly Remove the four screws, cover top, holder dome, gasket dome and dome. To remove the mounting bracket, press the plastic clips.
- Page 5 AXIS Q35 Dome Camera Series Remove the four screws, holder dome, dome and gasket dome. Repainting Make sure all necessary preparations have been made. See Preparations, on page 3...
- Page 6 AXIS Q35 Dome Camera Series Mask the dome. Reassemble the dome into the cover top. Note The dome gasket should not be included when painting.
- Page 7 AXIS Q35 Dome Camera Series Mask the four screw holes. For AXIS Q3556-LVE and AXIS Q3558-LVE, mask the acoustic sensors. Remove the screws from the cover top. Put the cover top back on the camera. Note Make sure that the gap is not too big.
- Page 8 AXIS Q35 Dome Camera Series When the paint is dry, remove the masking. Reassembly Reassemble the cover top with the dome gasket.
