Disassembly Procedures

Step Figure Remark
  1. Before disassemble
Disassembly Procedures - Step 1 Turn off power, unplug external cables from product
  1. Remove the STAND-BASE ASS'Y
Disassembly Procedures - Step 2 Lay down the MNT on a cushion.
Use a Philips-head screwdriver to push the button to remove the stand-base ass'y.
  1. Remove the REAR COVER
Disassembly Procedures - Step 3 Use a Philips-head screwdriver to remove 4 screws for unlocking mechanisms. (No.1~4 screw size=M4x10; Torque: 12±2kgf.cm)
Disassembly Procedures - Step 4 Use Penknife to separate rear cover follow the arrows in sequence, then you can take out rear cover.
Disconnect the pins to remove the connectors.
  1. Tear off the tapes and disconnect the connectors
Disassembly Procedures - Step 5 Tear off 4 pieces of aluminum (blue) foil, 4pieces of tapes (green) and 6 pieces of tapes (red).
  1. Remove the main board, power board and converter board.

Turn over the mainframe, disconnect the FFC cable. Remove the mylar

Use a Philips-head screwdriver to remove 9 screws for unlocking the main board, power board and converter board.
(No.1~9 screw size=M3x6, Torque=6±1kgf.cm)
Disconnect the connectors

  1. Remove the Mainframe

  1. Remove the Panel and middle frame
Disassembly Procedures - Step 8 Use a Philips-head screwdriver to remove 9 screws for unlocking the middle frame
(No.1~9 screw size=M3x4, Torque=3±0.5kgf.cm)

  1. Remove the DECO_BEZEL
Disassembly Procedures - Step 10 Use a Philips-head screwdriver to remove 5 screws to remove the DECO_BEZEL.
(No.1~5 screw size=Q2x2.5, Torque=0.9±0.3kgf.cm)
  1. Remove the DECO BEZEL and KEY BOARD
Disassembly Procedures - Step 11

Use a Philips-head screwdriver to remove 2 screws for disassembling the deco bezel.
(No.1~2 screw size=Q2x2.5, Torque=0.9±0.3kgf.cm)

Use a Philips-head screwdriver to remove 3 screws for unlocking the key board
(No.1~3 screw size=Q2x2.5, Torque=0.9±0.3kgf.cm)

Removing the big capacitors

Step Figure Remark
Remove the big capacitors Removing the big capacitors - Step 1 Remove electrolyte capacitors (red mark) from printed circuit boards
Removing the big capacitors - Step 2 Take out bulk cap pin solder with soldering iron and absorber
Removing the big capacitors - Step 3 Lift the bulk cap up and take it away from the PCB

  • Phillip-head Screwdriver
  • Hexagonal Screwdriver
  • Penknife
  • Soldering iron and absorber
