The password policy you configure applies to all users within the directory except
for the Directory Manager. Your password policy is comprised of the following
information:
Password add and modify information. The password information includes
password syntax and password history details.
Bind information. The bind information includes tracking bind failures and
password aging attributes.

After configuring your password policy, we recommend that you configure an
account lockout policy. For more information about configuring an account lockout

To set up or modify the password policy for your Directory Server:
On the Directory Server Console, select the Configuration tab and then the
