Remove (2) 9/32” hex-head screws from the knee bolster panel. 2. Pull down on the panel and remove the 9/32” hex-head screws exposed on the bottom of the dash trim bezel.

Unsnap radio/climate/instrument panel. (Figure B) 3. Move shift lever to first gear position. 4. Rotate panel counterclockwise to lift over steering column and remove.

Remove (2) Phillips screws under the instrument cluster. 3. Unclip the trim panel above the pedals. (It is not necessary to remove the panel it can be left hanging).

Remove the ashtray and (1) phillips screw exposed in the ashtray cavity. 2. Remove (1) Phillips screw from the cigarette lighter compartment. 3. Remove (2) Phillips screws securing the factory head unit and disconnect the wiring.

Open cup holders and remove (2) Phillips 7 mm screws. (Figure A) 2. Unsnap and remove dual power outlet assembly from lower storage. 3. Open lower storage door and remove (2) 7mm screws inside.

Continue to kit assembly Pontiac Sunfire 2000-2005 1. Open the glove box and remove (2) Phillips screws exposed on the right edge of the radio trim bezel.

    Kit Assembly 99-2001, AW-200GM All vehicles – DIN head unit provisions 1. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
