LEXUS LS SERIES 1990-1994 isconnect the negative battery ter- minal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Carefully pry out and remove ashtray assembly below radio. (Figure A) Using a panel removal tool or small flat blade screwdriver gently pry out on the top of the A/C vent assembly and remove. -

Attach the corresponding radio hous- ing bracket to the radio housing using the included Phillips screws. (Figure A) Slide the factory climate control into the assembled radio housing brack- ets/radio housing assembly and... - Page 5 LEXUS LS SERIES 1990-1994 DIN MOUNT RADIO PROVISION WITH POCKET Note: Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio. Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) Slide the aftermarket radio into the cage until it snaps in place.

Mount the ISO Brackets to the radio using the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure A) Slide the radio into the radio housing until the side clips engage.

FINAL ASSEMBL Y Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individ- ually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)
