Color Schemes

Many Touch Panel Templates support multiple Color Schemes. Color Schemes add flexibility to your
panel UI's visual design by using different palettes to create variations on the template design. An
example set of color schemes is shown below (FIG. 86):

Use the Color Schemes dialog to preview and select from the Color Schemes available for the selected
template.

Previewing Color Schemes

Use the Color Schemes dialog to preview and select from the Color Schemes available for the selected
template:
1. Select a Touch Panel in the System Diagram to populate the Device Properties Window for that
panel.
2. Select and apply a Touch Panel Template, if you haven't already done so.
a. Select a Touch Panel in the System tab of the Diagram Area.
b. In the Device Properties window (of the System Tree), click on Template (see FIG. 84 on
page 106).
c. Click the down-arrow to expand a list of all installed templates that support the selected panel's
resolution setting. If the selected panel supports multiple resolutions, you may select a desired
resolution to see which templates support each resolution.
d. Select the desired template.
3. Once you have selected a template, the Color Schemes field is enabled in the Device Properties
Window (along with the Unicode Fonts field).
4. Click in the Color Schemes field to enable the down-arrow, then click the arrow to display a list of
color schemes available for the selected template.
5. Click the Browse button at the bottom of this list to open the Color Schemes dialog.
Alternatively, you can access this dialog by selecting a Touch Panel UI tab, and then
selecting Color Schemes from the Touch Panel menu, or by selecting Touch Panels >
Color Schemes, or by clicking the toolbar button.
All color schemes for this template are displayed in the horizontal scroll area at the bottom of the
dialog.

Click Browse to open the Select Touch Panel Template dialog, where you can browse
thumbnails of the installed templates.
Use the scroll bar to view thumbnails for each color scheme.
Click on any thumbnail to view the selected color scheme in the main preview area of the
dialog.
