Please read instructions thoroughly before installing this product.
Step 1: Remove factory hood latches from vehicle.
Step 2: Drill the top two holes for the lower portion of the hood latch using a 5/16" drill bit. (Fig A)
NOTE: Make sure there are no wires and obstructions behind before drilling.

Step 3: Clean top surface of fender with provided cleaning pad. Place included bump stop on fender. (Fig B)
Step 4: Install top section of hood catch on hood. Do not tighten completely. Install lower section of hood
catch. Close hood, to make sure both sections are even with each other. Once even you may tighten
all hardware completely. Installation is now complete.
Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild soap, window or glass
cleaner may be used to clean the finish

pad on fender.
