Troubleshooting

Do not try to repair your radio yourself. Refer all servicing to
qualified repair personnel.
Symptoms
The radio does
not turn on
Poor radio
reception
No sound
Your radio stops
working
The HD Radio™
sound keeps
switching
between Digital
and Analog
audio. HD Radio™
indicator keeps
turning on and
off.
Possible causes and solutions
There is moisture or condensation in your radio. Let
your radio warm up to room temperature for 60
minutes, then try again.
Make sure that the antennas (AM and FM) are
connected correctly.
Adjust the antenna for better reception.
The volume control may be turned down. Increase
the volume.
Turn the power off and back on again, then start
over. If powering off and back on again fails, press
the reset button (you may need to insert the end of
a bent paper clip into the reset hole on the side of
your radio to do this).
You may be out of range of the HD Radio stations in
your area. Extend your antenna or move your radio
closer to a window to improve reception.
