1. Standby/on: Used to set the unit into standby, and turning it back on.
2. LED indicator: Lights green when the unit is turned on. Lights red when the unit is in standby.
3. Prev/Next: Selects the previous or next track.
4. Repeat: Makes it possible to play the tracks of a CD a certain order.
5. Random: Makes it possible to play the tracks of a CD in random order.
6. Rewind: Makes it possible to fast reverse.
7. Forward: Makes it possible to fast forward
8. Play/Pause: Starts playback at first press and stops playback at second press.
9. Stop: Stops playback completely.
10. Open/Close: Opens and closes the CD tray.
