General lighting and front reading lamps
General lighting
General lighting lights up and goes out when
you press the button. General lighting comes on
automatically and remains lit for 30 seconds:
· When you unlock the car from the outside
using the key or remote control.
· When you have stopped the engine and
turned the ignition key to position 0.
General lighting lights* and remains lit for
10 minutes:
· When one of the doors is open.
*The function is light-dependent and is
only activated when it is dark.

Rear reading lamps
General lighting goes out:
· When the engine is started.
· When you lock the car from the outside
using the key or remote control.
General lighting can be switched off or on in all
situations by briefly pressing the button.
When you switch the light on, it remains lit for
10 minutes.
You can disconnect the automatic function by
pressing the button for more than 3 seconds.
When you then briefly press the button, the
automatic function reconnects.
The pre-programmed times of 30 seconds and
10 minutes can be changed. Contact your Volvo
workshop.

Vanity mirror
The lamp comes on when you open the cover.
Front and rear reading lamps
Reading lamps in the front and rear seats can be
switched on or off by pressing the respective
button. Reading lamps are switched off automati-
cally after 10 minutes if not switched off
manually.
