Race circuit
Pressures differing from public road mode can be
set and monitored for driving on the race circuit.
Setting the tire pressures for the race circuit
1. Push operating lever forward in order to switch
on the selection field A.
2. Select "RDK" with the operating lever.
3. Push operating lever forward.
The display changes to the Tire pressure
menu.
4. Select "Race circuit" with the operating lever.
5. Push operating lever forward.
Current tire pressures are displayed.
6. Now set the desired tire pressures for the race
circuit on the tires.
After setting the tire pressure on the wheel, it
can take up to 1 to 2 minutes until the new
pressure specifications appear updated on the
on-board computer.
Note:
The desired pressures must not:
– fall below 25 psi (1.7 bar) for each tire or
– exceed a 6 psi (0.4 bar) pressure differ-
ence on both wheels of an axle.
Otherwise a message appears on the
on-board computer and the new
pressures will not be accepted.
In this event, the pressure in the tires to
be monitored must be set again.
7. When all the desired tire pressures have been
set on the wheels and the RDK (tire pressure
monitoring system) actual pressures appear in
the display, select "Accept" with the operating
lever.
8. Push the operating lever forward
The menu changes to "New required
pressures" in the display.
Until the current pressures are displayed, " -,- "
appears for approx. 2 minutes.
9. Select "Return" with the operating lever.
10.Push operating lever forward.
The display leaves the Tire pressure menu
and returns to the tire pressure function in the
on-board computer.
