Engine Oil Level

f Please observe the chapter "EXERCISE EX-
TREME CAUTION WHEN WORKING ON YOUR
VEHICLE" on Page 116.
f Regularly check the oil level using the on-board
computer each time before refuelling.
Please observe the chapter "ON-BOARD COM-
PUTER (BC)" on Page 65.
The difference between the min. and max. marks
on the segment display is approx. 2 liters
(2.13 quarts).
One segment of the display corresponds to a
quantity of approx. 0.3 liters (0.31 quart).
Warning!
Risk of burning from hot parts in engine com-
partment. Risk of injury by rotating parts.
The engine compartment blowers in the en-
gine compartment can start up even with en-
gine off.
f Exercise extreme caution when working on the
engine compartment.
f Top off engine oil only with the engine off.
Engine oil is hazardous to your health and
may be fatal if swallowed.
f Keep engine oil out of children's reach.
Used engine oil contains chemicals that have
caused cancer in laboratory animals.
f Always protect your skin by washing thorough-
ly with soap and water.
The oil filler is in the engine compartment.
