Brake Fluid Level

f Please observe the chapter "EXERCISE EX-
TREME CAUTION WHEN WORKING ON YOUR
VEHICLE" on Page 116.
f Use only new (unused) Original Porsche
brake fluid.
Warning!
Brake fluid is hazardous to your health, and
may be fatal if swallowed.
Brake fluid also attacks paintwork.
f Keep brake fluid out of children's reach.
f Take care while topping off brake fluid not to
soil the compartment of the roof panels or
items of luggage.

Opening the cover of the brake fluid
reservoir
The reservoir for the hydraulic braking system is
located in the compartment for the roof panels
under a cover.
1. Release the cover A (Velcro strap) and open.
2. Unscrew screws B.
3. Open cover C.
Checking the brake fluid level
f Check the brake-fluid level regularly at the
transparent reservoir.
1. Switch on the ignition for approx. 1 minute so
that the accumulator fills.
2. Read the fluid level.
The fluid level should always lie between the
"MIN" and "MAX" marks.
