Preparations prior to playing

Set the volume to the minimum by using
VOLUME

Turn on the power by pressing
• The power indicator blinks red for several seconds, then
lights green.
Turning the Power Off
① Press
[POWER]
• The power indicator lights red and the power is set to the
standby mode.
• When in the standby mode, press [POWER] to turn the power
on.
② Press <POWER>
• The power indicator turns off, and so does the power.
NOTE:
• Power continues to be supplied to some of the circuitry
even when the power is in the standby mode. When leaving
home for long periods of time or when traveling, either
press <POWER> to turn off the power, or unplug the power
cord from the power outlet.

Starting playback

INPUT SELECTOR

to be played.
• Select one of the sources among the following: TAPE-2,
TAPE-1, PHONO, CD, TUNER and DVD/AUX.
• The input indicator for the selected source lights.

Play the selected source.

NOTES:
• When not using the microphone, unplug it.
• DN-A300M does not have Phantom Power.
• It is recommended to use a microphone equipped with a
talk switch. Otherwise, the music source may be muted if a
trigger signal is output. Please turn AUTO MUSIC MUTE
button off when you do not use a microphone.

Starting recording

INPUT SELECTOR
Use
(other than TAPE-1 or TAPE-2) to be recorded.
• When you select PHONO, CD, TUNER or DVD/AUX,
recording can be made on TAPE-1, TAPE-2 or both
simultaneously.

Set the device connected to the TAPE-1 (or
TAPE-2) terminal to the recorded mode.

Start playing the source to be recorded.
