2.1 Hard Disk installation ECOR FHD 4F: You can install one 3.5” HDD inside the ECOR FHD 4F DVR for recording videos. Make sure the DVR is power-off. Unscrew the three housing screws on the rear panel of the DVR.

ECOR FHD 4F / 8F / 16F Full HD DVR 2.2 Basic Connection The instructions below the figure describe the basic connection for the ECOR FHD 4F / 8F / 16F DVR. (This figure uses ECOR FHD 8F DVR as an example).
ECOR FHD 4F / 8F / 16F Full HD DVR 2.2.1 Monitor Connection Connect the monitor to the HDMI, VGA or BNC port on the rear panel of the DVR. The ECOR FHD 4F / 8F / 16F DVR provides 2 main monitor outputs with identical functionality - VGA and HDMI.
ECOR FHD 4F / 8F / 16F Full HD DVR 2.2.2 Alarm I / O The DVR provides 4 alarm inputs and 1 alarm outputs. You can also connect the radio-controlled clock to the alarm input of the DVR for the time synchronization. The DVR supports the radio-controlled clock which will automatically synchronize to the time standard so that you won’t need to reset the time manually.
The RS-485 port, located on the rear panel of the DVR, can be used to connect to an RS-485 keyboard, such as EverFocus’ EKB500, for controlling PTZ cameras or connect to a POS device. For details on the RS-485 configurations on the DVR, please refer to 6.9.5 I/O Control. This figure uses ECOR FHD 8F DVR as an example.

ECOR FHD 4F / 8F / 16F Full HD DVR 6.5.2 Lock/Format You can control the percentage of the hard disk space reserved for Locked Event Recordings. You can also format the hard disk if necessary. Maximum Lock (%): Sets the maximum percentage of the hard disk space reserved for Locked Event Recordings.
ECOR FHD 4F / 8F / 16F Full HD DVR 6.6 Display Setting You can configure the settings for displaying the camera / DVR information on the live view image. You can also set up the sequencing order for the Main monitor.
ECOR FHD 4F / 8F / 16F Full HD DVR 6.6.2 M/T SEQ You can configure up to 20 steps of the sequencing order for the Main monitor. The Sequence will repeat continuously from step 1 to step 20 until interrupted.
ECOR FHD 4F / 8F / 16F Full HD DVR 6.7 Network Settings The DVR allows you to use a Web browser to remotely view and manage the system. You can also receive live video streaming from the DVR using your smartphone.
