Installation and Initial Startup
Placement & Storage Conditions
Install UPS in a protected, dust-free area with adequate airflow, away from contaminants.
Connect to Utility and Charge
Plug AC input cord into a grounded outlet and charge for 6 hours before use.
Connect the Loads
Plug loads into UPS output receptacles and turn on the power switch.
Connect LAN cable, Modem or Phone line for Surge Protection
Connect modem/phone line to surge-protected "IN" outlet, then to computer via "OUT".
Connect USB Cable
Connect UPS to PC with USB cable for monitoring software and shutdown functions.
Turn On/Off the Unit
Press the power switch to turn the UPS on or off.
