    General description The QAS 600 Volvo is an AC generator, built for continuous running at sites where no electricity is available or as stand-by in cases of interruption of the mains. The generator operates at 60 Hz, 240/480 V - 3 phase. The QAS 600 Volvo generator is driven by a coolant-cooled diesel engine, manufactured by VOLVO PENTA. An overview of the main parts is given in the diagram below.
