Do not allow contaminates (moisture, dust, etc.) to enter the brake reservoir. Clean cap before removing. Only remove the cap when
necessary. Contaminated fluid could cause brake failure. Improper installation of reservoir could cause brake failure. Bleed the braking
system after installation of the new reservoir. Take care when handling hydraulic oils and follow the manufacturers guidelines. The
cap screws are set with semi-permanent thread lock and need to be tightened to 3.2Nm. If the thread lock comes off when the cap is
removed re apply with semi-permanent thread lock by following the manufacturers guidelines.
Take care when filling the reservoir. Hydraulic fluids can be harmful if they come into contact with skin and eyes. Ensure you do not
fill over the max line. Protect paintwork using a clean dry cloth. Ensure all reservoir components are clean and dry before filling. After
tightening the screws use a clean dry cloth to clean the product. After filling check the oil level. Too much oil will cause leaks, too little oil
will cause insufficient hydraulic power.
Before riding your motorcycle, ensure the braking system is working as expected and the reservoir does not interfere with any other
components on the motorcycle. We strongly suggest repeating these checks periodically, especially after long trips or prolonged periods
of not using the bike.
