LEFT-SIDE
INSTALLATION SHOWN
The first and last holes in a run of continuous wall track MUST be installed into a wood
stud or appropriate reinforcement (blocking) with appropriate hardware.
In the situation where 12" (300mm) of the track overhangs beyond a stud, that
section of wall between studs MUST be appropriately blocked to provide the wall track
with a secure surface to which to attach.
Appropriate hardware MUST be installed at least every 16" (400mm) (on each stud)
along the track.
When installing uprights with no track, first and last holes in each upright MUST be
installed into a wood stud or appropriate reinforcement (blocking) with appropriate
hardware. Appropriate hardware MUST be installed at least every 12" (300mm)
(on each stud) along the upright.
Wall tracks, uprights, and grid brackets are not designed to replace additional
structural support for walls. Installers should use discretion and properly reinforce
walls before attaching wall tracks, uprights and grid brackets.
The system is designed to allow tracks and uprights to be positioned to mount to
appropriate wall support structures. Due to the low and inconsistent strength of
drywall, mounting of this product solely to dry wall is not recommended.
Notice: Regularly inspect this product. Tighten loose fasteners and replace worn or
damaged parts with new InterMetro approved parts.
