A EW-800/EW-850 Electric Bike provides extra energy without much effort. The removable battery is hardly noticeable. Cycling is a sport that fits easily into anyone’s daily routine.
RIDING SAFETY Like any sport, electric bike carries the risk of injury and damage. By choosing to ride the EW-800/EW-850 you assume all responsibility for these risks. Thus, you need to know and practice the rules of safe and responsible riding.
Wear bright, visible clothing that is not so loose that it can catch on moving parts of the EW-800/EW-850 or objects at the side of the road or trail. o Think about your speed, and keep your speed consistent with safe operating conditions.
Don’t jump with your EW-800/EW-850. It puts great stress on everything from frame and forks to drive train. Riders who insist on jumping their EW-800/ EW-850 risk serious bike damage as well as harm to themselves. o Never carry anything which obstructs your vision or...
o Concentrate on the path ahead. Avoid potholes, gravel, dirt, wet road, oil, curbs, speed bumps, drain grates and other obstacles. o Be alert for unexpected events, such as opening car doors or cars backing out of concealed driveways. o Be extra careful at intersections and when preparing to pass other vehicles.
Rules of the Road, and take the following precautions: Make sure that your EW-800/EW-850 is equipped with correctly positioned and securely mounted reflectors. Make sure your clothing or cargo does not obstruct a reflector or light.
The battery does NOT require deep discharging. If your EW-800/EW-850 is put into storage, re-charge its battery at least once every 90 days. Do not store your EW-800/EW-850 in direct sunlight for an extended time. Store your EW-800/EW-850 in a dry place. Exposing your EW-800/EW-850 to rain, snow, or other precipitation may result in damage.
Model of Pedal Electric Assisted System: Standard Pedalling with electric assistance at rate of 1:1 ASSEMBLY AND SETUP If your EW-800/EW-850 was removed from its carton and “set up” by retail store personnel, there is no guarantee it was properly set up. Please observe and follow this checklist, even if your EW-800/EW-850 was out of its carton when you purchased it.

4. 6mm Allen Wrench 1. Remove the EW-800/EW-850 from its carton. Lift the bike out of the carton, assistance will be needed. If no assistance available start by opening the top to allow access to the inside of the carton. Use a knife to cut each corner from the inside out (Figure A).

Handlebar Installation Tools you will need to attach the Handlebar - 6mm Allen Wrench 1. Insert handlebar and align steering correspondingly (Figure A). 2. Use the 6mm Allen Wrench to tighten the steering wheel until it is fully tightened (Figure A).

Front Wheel Installation -Prior Front Wheel installation made sure disc brake is on the correct side as shown in Figure A. -Fasten nuts on each side of the fork.

Pedals Installation Tools you will need to attach the Pedals -15mm Wrench 1. Check each pedal for their corresponding side (L) Left and (R) Right (Figure A). 2. Insert pedal into place and tighten it using the 15mm Wrench (Figure B).

How to properly remove the Battery Pack 1. Unlock the Battery lock located on Battery Pack with the key. 2. Press on seat latch to open. (Figure A). 3. Use Battery pack handle to remove Battery Pack (Figure B).

Charging the Battery 1. Plug Charger into Battery Pack (Figure A). 2. Leave Battery pack charge Until green light on charger appears Warning! How to adjust brakes 1. Loosen bolt to adjust tension to brake cable. 2. Tighten bolt when at desired tension. BOLT BOLT...
3) Verify the proper adjustment and function of the brakes. 4) Make sure the EW-800/EW-850 is in good mechanical order. Visually inspect and hand-check the vehicle,and snug any loose bolts, screws, or other fasteners.
Battery Care and Maintenance What to Expect of Your Batteries The battery is a sealed lithium type. With normal use, it can last for well over 400 charge/discharge cycles. Know that normal use should mean partial, and not complete discharging. If you employ “shallow” discharge cycles, using less than 30% of battery’s capacity, the battery can achieve up to 600 charge/discharge cycles.
What’s Inside Your EW-800/EW-850 Battery The Battery is composed seven-cell, 10 Amp-hour capacity batteries in series, for a total capacity of 36 V, 15 Ah. The component batteries are a standard, commercially available size. Keep this in mind, however, should you choose to service your battery.
0 ºF, the battery power will decline more than one third. So it is natural that the EW-800/ EW-850 will not reach its normal mileage in winter or in cold weather. When the air temperature is up to 68 ºF, the EW-800/EW-850 will achieve its normal rang capability.

4) Plug the end of the charger’s cord into the socket of the adaptor first. Next connect the adaptor to the EW-800/EW-850 (the charger port in located below the front of the seat). Then plug the chargers’ AC cords into the wall outlet.
Lubrication You should inspect and maintain your EW-800/EW-850 and lubricate the mechanical power transmission components. The brake cables may also need lubrication. Lubricate the brake cables with silicone or graphite lubricant.
