Scallop Edges

Scallop stitches can be used to attractively finish the
edges of collars, pockets and placemats.
To edge a collar, place interfacing between upper
and under collar and sew the scallop on the seam
line.
After sewing, trim fabric close to stitching. Do not cut
the scallops.
This stitch can also be used.
Complete Pattern – Auto-Lock Key
Choose any of the stitches 31-60 for decorative sew-
ing.
Remember to use stabilizer appropriate to the
fabric.
Press
key at end to complete the pattern and tie
off stitches.

Combining Patterns

Add a decorative accent to your sewing. Express
your creative talents by alternating stitches.
Remember to use stabilizer appropriate to the
fabric.
Sew two hearts; press
heart.
Select and sew flower; press
flower.
Repeat process as desired.
NOTE: The
key locks the stitches.
