    Baseboards & Ribbon Boards CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED BASEBOARDS & RIBBON BOARD REQUIREMENTS Baseboard installation is described in Guide #3. Materials for baseboard are not included and are supplied by customer. Example below shows baseboard as attached to frame for a building with polycarbonate roof. Greenhouses equipped with roll-up sides do not require baseboards; however, they are recommended and can be used if desired.

  • Page 7 Install Flashing FLASHING INSTALLATION (continued) Continue with flashing installation. 1. Locate a piece of flashing (PGFLSAXXFCW0063) and place it at one frame corner tight against the end wall panel. NOTE: If any Tek screws holding end wall panels interfere with flashing installation, remove the Tek screws, seal holes with silicone, and place flashing in position.

Begin with a full-length flashing piece, then cut another section to finish edge up to peak. Before installing second piece to overlap first, apply a narrow bead of silicone to overlap area. Overlap flashing approximately 3". Place overlap seam higher on roof edge so it is less noticeable.

All panels are 47-1/4" wide; length is cut-to-fit during construction. Review chart below to identify panels and panel locations for your greenhouse. Individuals with prior construction experience may elect to install panels using a method that differs from what is presented. Others may choose to follow or modify the steps below. In all cases, read through the following pages to examine one way to install these panels. Do not cut all panels before test fitting first roof and sidewall panels to the 115813 eave channel to ensure you have cut panels to correct lengths.

    Seal Greenhouse APPLY SILICONE SEALANT You can seal greenhouse now or after the roll-up or drop-down curtain installation (Guide #3) is complete. To seal greenhouse now, return to areas shown below and seal using silicone sealant (included): • Apply a thin bead of silicone along each seam where the 104548 end cap meets flashing.
