Grandstream HT802 Setup Guide for
VOIP with Plusnet and A&A
Setting up the Grandstream HT802 analogue telephone adaptor (ATA)
to replace a PlusNet analogue landline with an A&A VOIP line, while still
using your existing analogue landline phones.
What You'll Need:
● Plusnet Hub 2 router
● Analogue phone or DECT phones
● Grandstream HT802
● Ethernet cable
● A&A VOIP account details
● PC or laptop
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Log into Your Plusnet Router
1. Open a web browser and enter the router's IP (usually
192.168.1.254).
2. Log in with the password from the back of your router.
3. Go to Advanced Settings and turn UPnP off (under Firewall
settings).
Step 2: Set Up the Grandstream HT802
1.
the HT802:
Connect
○ Power adapter into a wall socket.
○ Ethernet cable from the HT802's WAN port to the Plusnet
router.
○ Phone connected to Phone Port 1.
2. Wait for the device's lights to turn solid blue (power and internet
lights).
Step 3: Find the Grandstream's IP Address and Log In
1. Pick up the phone connected to the HT802 and dial ***, then

press
to get the IP address.
2. Enter the IP address into your browser to log into the
Grandstream interface (default login: admin/admin).
