Filter adapter SR 280-3
Adapter SR 280-3 is intended for connecting
Sundström's filters to breathing protection
devices with EN 148-1 standard thread.
Fitting of filter
The filter is to be fitted in the adapter with
the arrow pointing towards the adapter.
Check carefully that the filter edge engages
the internal circumferential slot. Next, fit the
pre-filter SR 221 by means of the pre-filter
holder. The adapter with the filter fitted is
then to be threaded on to the mask.

Inspection before use
Each time the adapter is to be used,
check first that it is clean and undamaged.
A damaged adapter is to be discarded
immediately. The adapter is firmly enclosed
and cannot be dismantled.
Maintenance
Sundström cleaning wipes SR 5226 are
recommended for daily care. If the adapter
is heavily soiled, use a warm (up to +40 °C),
mild soap solution and a soft brush, followed
by rinsing with clean water and drying in air
at room temperature. If necessary, spray the
adapter with 70 % ethanol or isopropanol
solution for disinfection.
NOTE! Never use solvent for cleaning.
After cleaning, store the adapter in a dry and
clean place at room temperature.
