    This chapter details how to setup the Windows that may be installed on the tablet for the first time. 3.1 Introduction The S101MT Tablet Computer operates on Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC operating system. Caution Make sure the battery is full charged before starting the Tablet Computer for the first time with internal battery power.

To support hot-swap, there is a built-in backup battery inside the tablet that is charged together with the main battery.

Click on EZConfig-Scanning v4_IE and allow the blocked content if the browser is blocking the content. If you are connecting the device for the first time, as part of out of box experience, please ensure that REMIFC1! is enabled for a smooth connection with EZConfig application.

Click on the Editor button under the Prefix or Suffix section and create Prefix/Suffix value by typing in the block or select desire characters in the Control chars, Printable chars, and Extended ASCII.

    Chapter 5: Frequently Used Settings 5.1 Screen Resolution Setting The S101MT's 1920 x 1200 high-resolution display is perfect for viewing images, videos, or other applications. However, when the device is used alone or connected to other device, the Windows user interface (icons, buttons, and other elements) may be too small to read and operate at the default Windows settings.

    5.2 Using Recovery Wizard to Restore Computer The S101MT Tablet Computer has a dedicated recovery partition stored on the tablet's hard drive to enable a quick one-key recovery process. This partition occupies about 11GB of the storage space and comes built-in to each S101MT Tablet Computer.
