Do not use detergents when cleaning the fan or fan blades. A dry dust cloth or lightly dampened cloth will be suitable for most cleaning. 1. Unpacking Your Fan. Carefully open the packaging. Remove items from packing material. Remove motor housing and place on carpet or packing material to avoid damage to finish. *The motor stabilization pieces may be dicarded at this time. Do not discard fan carton or packing material should this fan need to be returned for repairs.

3. Installation Preparation. To prevent personal injury and damage, ensure that blade edge the hanging location allows the blades a clearance of 7 feet (2.13m) from the floor and 30in. 5. Fan Assembly. (cont.) With the hanging bracket secured to the outlet box and safety cable loop wood able to support the fan, you are now ready to hang your ceiling fan. Grab the fan firmly with two hands. Slide downrod joist through opening in hanging bracket and let hanging ball rest on the hanging bracket.

Align the rounded part of each slotted hole in center of canopy with the corresponding screw screw loosened screws in hanging bracket and push up. Twist canopy to lock and then tighten both screws securely.

9. Light Kit Assembly. motor Remove 1 screw from motor plate on motor housing plate underside of motor housing and partially loosen the other 2 screws. Align slotted holes in center of fitter plate with loosened screws in motor plate, allowing female plug from motor housing to come through hole in fitter middle of fitter plate.

10. Testing Your Fan. It is recommended that you test fan before finalizing installation. Restore power from circuit box and light switch (if applicable). Test fan speeds with fan pull chain located under plate at top of light kit fitter. Start at the OFF light kit position (no blade movement).
