- Page 7 6. BEFORE YOU INSTALL 1. Fully charge the camera: Flip open the charging port lid and connect it to a power source using the 33” / 84cm USB-C Cable provided. 2. Test the product by powering it on and connecting it to the TYPE S Drive App (page 10). NOTE: Though the camera already comes with 90% battery charge out of the box, we still recommend charging it for 5-6 hours before installation for the best performance.
- Page 8 7. INSTALLATION GUIDE OPTION 1 - MOUNT WITH INSTALLATION PLATE Remove the license plate you’d like to install the camera over from your vehicle. Attach the Installation Plate onto your license plate and back onto your vehicle using either the M6 x 18mm Metric Screws or the 6.3mm x 30mm Tapping Screws.
- Page 9 OPTION 2 - MOUNT WITH UNIVERSAL MOUNTING PLATE Attach the camera onto the Universal Mounting Plate using the 3mm x 8mm Tapping Screws (1 extra piece of Tapping Screw for spare). Peel off the 3M™ VHB Double-sided Tape Install the license plate and the camera Backer from the Universal Mounting Plate back onto your vehicle.

- Page 11 9. APP SETUP Pairing The Camera 1. Run the TYPE S Drive App and click Backup Camera. 2. Scroll down the device list and select ADJUSTABLE BACKUP CAMERA. Click Set Up Device. Android Device 3. Click and select Pair Camera. 4.
