This manual explains the use and safety features of these motor powered pumps and contains information valuable to both experienced and also first time users of these electrically powered pumps.

(9) Any modification to these pumps without the consent of Riken could cause damage as well as compromise the safety of the operator of these electric pumps. Contact Riken before any modifications are carried out.
- Page 4 (16) The high pressure hose is a consumable item. Even if the hose exterior appears to be in good condition, it is possible internal damage such as pin holes have occurred. Riken recommend periodic replacement based upon how frequently hoses have been used combined with specific application conditions.

A variety of valves are available from Riken to provide pressure (load) holding when required. Contact Riken or your local sales agent for suitable valves to provide hold and release functions. - Page 13 Showa Shell Sekiyu Tellus Oil 46 or similar oil). When using the ROC-2K Series one-touch coupler, move ROC-2K-H with the ring in WARNING: a pulled back position and align them with ROC-2K-R thoroughly, then release the ring. The coupler will connect after automatically locking. Also, ensure that connection has been performed properly by pulling ROC-2K-H coupler forward and checking that it does not come loose. - Page 16 ⑥ In the case of double-acting, perform the same procedures for both high pressure hoses. ⑦ After air release, check the amount of hydraulic oil in the tank. 11. Operating Method (1) SMP-200-B The single-acting cylinder is operated using the operation valve (manual, 3way). Maintaining of pressure is possible in the set pressure of the pressure switch.
