    PRODUCT OVERVIEW PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Woburn Bed Platform Sleeve Product Code: HJB900PC The Woburn Bed Platform Sleeve is designed to work with the Harvest Healthcare Ultra Low Bed 1, 2, and 3. Its purpose is to ensure patient safety and help mitigate any potential risks associated with the use of profiling beds, creating a safer environment for the user.

  • Page 9 WARRANTY BUMPER SYSTEMS The Harvest Healthcare Woburn Bed Platform Sleeve is covered by warranty for a period of 1 year. Damage through incorrect use will invalidate this warranty. GUARANTEE Harvest Healthcare Ltd guarantees to repair or replace all goods issued to its customers which are found to be defective whilst still under their applicable warranty period.

    INSTALLATION 1. Ensure you are about to install the bumper on a 900mm wide Woburn bed. 2. Profile the backrest and leg sections as in the picture below. 3. Ensure mattress guides are positioned as shown above in red circles. 4.
  • Page 11 INSTALLATION 6. Attach the elastic straps on the underside of the foot end of the bumper to the raised mattress platform leg section. 7. From the underside of the bed starting at the head end connect the buckles pull the first strap tight (this strap has adjustment).
  • Page 12 INSTALLATION 9. Ensure the mattress guides fit into the pockets on the bumper and fold the platform cover over the raised backrest section. 10. Connect the fifth strap (this strap has no adjustment). 11. Ensure the mattress guides fit into the pockets on the bumper and fold the platform cover over the raised backrest section.
  • Page 13 INSTALLATION 14. The bottom of the mattress platform should look like this, all 6 straps secured. Do not pass the straps above actuators or moving platform sections, ensure cables can move freely as bed is operated. The long central strap must pass around the ends of the bed (see No.13) 15.
  • Page 14 INSTALLATION The Platform Sleeve can be combined with compatible Head and Footboard Bumper and the Lock Pocket to create a Specialist Anti-Entrapment System for juniors and small adults when side rails are not being used. To do this simply connect the hook and loop at the ends of the Platform Sleeve to the hook and loop on the bottom inner edge of the Head and Footboard Bumpers.

    CLEANING & CARE WARNING Eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing should be worn when carrying out cleaning and disinfection procedures. When disinfecting the system, Harvest Healthcare recommends the following guidelines which have been developed to comply with recognised infection control procedures. These procedures are also to be used to prevent cross infection when transferring the system between patients.
