    Insert batteries - Take the front of the clock and locate the battery pack attached to the movement. Pop off the cover and insert two (2) D-cell batteries (Bogen recommends the use of Duracell Procell). After the batteries are secured, the clock should begin to find the correct time.

After securing excess wiring, plug the jack at the end of the wiring into the appropriate jack on the back of the clock. If using IP clocks, wiring will not be supplied with the clocks - the installer will be responsible for supplying all Ethernet wiring.

    Are the BCRM Series analog clocks easily interchangeable with the BCAR Series analog clocks? Yes, the 2 series are completely compatible. The BCRM Series analog clock will work with the BCAR wiring scheme. How do I know if the clock is receiving communication? There are 2 LEDs on the side of the movement that indicate if the clock is receiving data.

What do I do? a) Make sure the pin is removed. b) Measure the voltage between the power (black) wire and the neutral (white) wire. The voltage should measure 85-135 volts AC in the 110 volt model or 7-28 volts AC in the 24 volt model.

    Overview To enter the diagnostic testing, press the diagnostic switch located on the right hand side of the movement, or use a Bogen master clock to send the diagnostic tests to the BCRM clocks. (Please refer to your specific master clock’s installation manual for complete details and instructions.) Diagnostic #1 - Protocol Verification Purpose: To display the type of protocol the master clock is sending.

The second hand will display the protocol that was detected, the minute hand will display the software version number, and the hour hand will display how much time has passed since the clock last received communication signal.

    201.934.8500 P. 201.934.9832 F. www.bogen.com Diagnostic Testing Diagnostic #3 - Manufacturing Default Purpose: To bring the clock to 12:00:00 and reset to manufacturer’s default. Holding the switch for 5 seconds will enable you to enter into Diagnostic #3. This can be verified by the green diagnostic LED flashing 3 times with a five (5) second break between flashes.
