    IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Please observe the following general safety instructions when assembling the quilting frame. Before using this quilting frame, read instruction manual carefully. Warning To protect persons from injuries: • The packaging of the quilting frame and the machine is large and heavy. The packaging should, therefore, always be carried by at least two adults together.

Proper Use The quilting frame serves as a supporting base and workstation for quilting with the BERNINA Q 16 / Q 16 PLUS and sewing machines. Any other use is not considered proper. BERNINA assumes no liability concerning consequences resulting from an improper use.

    MY BERNINA My BERNINA 1.1 Overview The BERNINA Hoop Frame is available in two versions: • for BERNINA Q 16 machines (Q 16 / Q 16 PLUS) • for sewing machines (recommended with approx. 25 cm (10") of throat space) These assembly instructions cover all machine models.

    The BERNINA Hoop Frame is delivered in 3 cardboard boxes. Boxes 1 - 2 contain all parts required to assemble the Hoop Frame. Box 3 contains parts for placing the machine and hooping the quilt. The Q 16 / Q 16 PLUS or the sewing machine is not part of this scope of delivery.

As each person is of a different height and appreciates different adjustments, the table below corresponds to a basic setting that can be personalized after the machine has been set up.
