SETUP

  1. Remove the lid from the case back, place two lithium AA batteries in the clock. Please check that the batteries are minimum 1.5Volts each.
  2. Press both blue buttons simultaneously with a tiny pin for about 8-10 seconds to start the searching function when setting the clock for the first time.
    You should see a red light appearing on the bottom right of the aperture. While looking at the clock, the hour and minute hand should move, until the hands will stop at 12 o'clock.

    Note: There is a time limit to set the clock, the below steps need to be executed before the hour hand is at 12.00 again. If not, the process needs to be restarted from the beginning.
    Setting the clock for a second time? Press the M.SET button for 5 seconds.
  3. Take your mobile phone or laptop and go to your settings. Go to WLAN/WiFi (no app needed).
    Click on the name of your WiFi clock and wait for the message to pop up.

    Note: Ensure you are connected to a 2.4GHz frequency.
  4. In case you're connected without internet, click on the name of your WiFi clock and then select "Keep WiFi connection".
  5. Then press on the wheel icon to access the setting of the WiFi clock.

    Note: In case your device is not automatically showing the setting page, please type in the number 192.168.4.1 in your URL browser.
    Note: If an issue arises, please refer to this section for guidance.
    (Applicable to Android OS only)
  6. Once on the setting of the WiFi clock, press on "Manage router".

    Note: If "Manage router" does not appear, please "forget" the current WiFi and reselect it in the WiFi list. Then start again with step 3'.
    (Applicable to Android OS only)
  7. A pop-up page should appear. Please fill out all the cells with all the necessary information.
  8. Then, click on "Save my settings" and wait for the clock to finish its full cycle.

    Note: Please note that the time setting can take up to 2 minutes.
  9. While you wait, the message "Your Mondaine clock is connected" should appear. Once the first full cycle of the clock is finished by ending at 12 o'clock, the hands will begin a new cycle but will stop at the correct hour, minute and second.

    Note: If the hands do not move after their first cycle, go back to step 2, press the MSet button for 6-8 seconds and repeat the whole process.
    Note: Press multiple times, if needed, until the connection is successful.

WiFi Clock function descriptions

stop2Go FUNCTION
The second hand turns 360° degree in 58.5 seconds, it stops at 12 o 'clock and pause for 1.5 seconds.

EOL (END OF LIFE) BATTERY
If the hour and minute hands stop at 1:50, the battery voltage is low, and the battery needs to be replaced (lithium, alkaline).

WiFi FUNCTION
WiFi clock only supports 2.4GHz connection.

SUMMER AND WINTER TIME
Time changes are not done automatically. This needs to be set manually, the same way as the first installation of the clock.

Additional setting page information

The setting page has 4 languages to choose: English, German, Chinese, Japanese.

SEARCH WiFi BUTTON
click WiFi (SSID) Dialog box will show the SSID with the strongest signal.

RESET
To restore the interface content to its default settings, press both blue buttons located on the back of the clock case - left button is M.SET and right button is REC. Make sure to press both buttons simultaneously to complete the reset.

SAVE YOUR SETTINGS BUTTON
WiFi clock connected successfully: "Your Mondaine clock is connected", then you can exit the mobile phone setting interface.
WiFi clock networking failure: "Didn't connect-try again". Please check the WiFi Password and click again "Save Your Settings".
Note: You may need to press twice for the action to take effect.
Please ensure there are no spaces at the end of your password.

How to enter the settings screen

(Special case)
Due to compatibility limitation of some mobile devices, the following situations may occur. The corresponding operations are as follows:

CASE 1
After you select on your mobile device WLAN list - the clock <WiFi-Clock-EXAMPLE> (every clock has a unique identification number), if the setting interface will not pop up automatically, but you have a notification in the notification bar indicating that the mobile device is connected to the WiFi clock. Click directly on the notification bar - the setting interface will pop up automatically.

CASE 2
After you select on your mobile device WLAN list - the clock <WiFi-Clock-EXAMPLE> (every clock has a unique identification number), if the setting interface will not pop up automatically also after you tried CASE 1, or it directly pops up a blank web page. Go to your mobile device internet browser and enter 192.168.4.1 in the URL field and click "search", the setting interface will pop up.

Fault verification and solution

FAULT 1
After the WiFi clock is powered on, the hands keep moving (it stops for a short time every 10 seconds and then starts again. Cycle).
Solution: The battery is insufficient, replace the new battery (alkaline).

FAULT 2
After setting the network, the hands stop at 12 o'clock when the WiFi clock cannot get the time, indicating that it didn't connect correctly with your WiFi – restart the process at step 1.
Solution: Confirm that setting content is correct (account and password), reset after click Save your Settings button and try again. Or re-start the WiFi clock connection Settings.
