Tips and tricks
- Do not heat empty pans in the appliance and do not leave the pans in the hot appliance after use. This could
damage their coating and residues in the pans could possibly burn in and become difficult to remove.
- In order to save space on the table you can place empty, not needed pans in the parking shelf of the appliance.
- Cut food into bite-sized pieces so they get done quicker.
- Brush meat or firm fish lightly with oil. As an alternative, you can marinate those beforehand.

Cleaning
Danger!
Pull the plug out of the socket before each cleaning.
Danger!
Never immerse the appliance, the plug or the power cord in water or other liquids. Do not clean it in
the dishwasher.
Risk of burns or injury!
Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning it.
- Clean the appliance immediately after every use.
- Remove the grill plate from the appliance for cleaning. Clean it as well as the pans with hot water, a mild
detergent and a firm sponge only. In case of stubborn residues let the plate and the pans soak. Avoid using
abrasive cleansers or sponges. Do not clean these pieces in the dishwasher to protect the non-stick coating.
- Clean the scrapers with warm water and a mild dishwashing detergent. Alternatively, you can clean them in
the dishwasher.
- Wipe the housing with a soft cloth only, slightly damp if necessary.
- Do not use any abrasive utensils or materials or aggressive cleaning products to clean the appliance or its
components.
- Ensure that the appliance and all parts are completely dry before using them again or putting them away.
