Switch Location Warnings • The switch is designed for indoor use only, in a controlled environment, away from excess moisture, temperature extremes, conductive contaminants, dust or direct sunlight.

    Product Features NG16 NG24 Power ON/OFF LED: An LED illuminates to indicate the switch is receiving power. Port LEDs: • The green LED is ON when a 10/100/1000 Mbps connection is present and blinks when the port is active. • The orange LED is ON when a 10/100 Mbps connection is present and blinks when transmitting data at 10/100 Mbps.

    Quick Installation Desktop Installation Attach the four included rubber feet to the bottom of the unit. Place the switch on a flat desktop surface. Inspect and install the power cord to a proper AC FLAT DESKTOP SURFACE power source. Connect the power cord to the switch. The Power LED will illuminate when the switch turns on.
  • Page 6 Quick Installation 1U Rack-Mount Installation The NG24-1 is shown in the installation diagram. The NG16-1 can also be rack mounted. Attach the mounting brackets to each side of the switch with the included screws. Be sure the mounting bracket “ears” are facing forward. NG16-1: x8 M3 (diameter: 4.8 mm, length: 4 mm) screws included.
