§ The contact is changed when the actuator is in Fault status (activated by the torque switch). § It is possible to select the contact by the 3-pin DIP switch (SW2) of the LCU-P (see table “front” ④ Closing lamp (A-contact: Normally Open) No.
Notes: The factory setting of DIP switch SW3 is: 4~20 mA DC. Please make sure whether the input signal and DIP switches are set for intended use. Caution: If switch SW3-3 is “on”, the output signal is identical to the input signal. LCU-P - Local Control Unit with integrated PCU Rev. – November, 2024 www.eriks.com...
Hunting means that the actuator will move forward and backward repeatedly. In this case the operator must adjust the deadband to avoid hunting. · Continuous hunting causes damage to several actuator parts. Like motor, LCU-P board, potentiometer, etc.. Deadtime setting ·...
Fail close (FC), fail open (FO) and fail stop When an analogue command signal does not come in or a wrong signal is received, the LCU-P will detect a Fault and operates automatically to the open, closed or stop position according to the preset fail position.
② Put DIP switch No.4 (O/S output set) in the ON position. ③ Both red and green LED’s are flickering. ④ In about 1,5 seconds only the green LED is flickering. LCU-P - Local Control Unit with integrated PCU Rev. – November, 2024 www.eriks.com...
