Note: We recommend that you use a wired connection to monitor your recordings. First plug-in your wired headphones and then pair the MoveMic to the app when using a mobile device. Plug directly into the receiver when using the hardware receiver.
When recording with the MoveMic kit, use the following best practices: • Always remain in line of sight from the MoveMic to your receiver; either the MV-R or your phone if utilizing the MOTIV app. • Minimize distance for optimal video content and wireless performance. Many creators stay within 20ft (6m) to have the best visibility and strongest sound.

Shure Incorporated Microphone Cartridge Microphone Orientation Rotate the microphone barrel in the mic clip to ensure that your stereo recordings are accurate. Point the front of the micro phone toward the sound source. For landscape (horizontal) recording, position the L and R indicators to the right and left. For portrait (vertical) recording, simply rotate the microphone barrel in the mic clip.

The MV88+W fits into a standard A25D mic clip. So, you can place it anywhere that you can put a mic stand. Tip: For correct stereo orientation, ensure that the Shure name is clearly visible on the top of the microphone. If the name is not visible, adjust the microphone accordingly.

Circled icon is the Add Mic icon. Open the MOTIV application and tap the Device icon. Put the MoveMic into pairing mode. Press and hold the power button for 6 seconds from a powered-off state until LEDs flash alternating red and blue.
Shure Incorporated Mic Settings Use the MOTIV app to change microphone settings and to record, edit, and share audio. The device stores the most recently used settings for quick setup each time you record. Tip: Turn on Airplane Mode and Do Not Disturb to prevent interruptions to the recording caused by phone calls, text messages, or alerts.
Shure Incorporated Device Name: Tap the Device Name if you'd like to customize your microphone name. Lock Settings: Lock settings when you have dialed in your sound to ensure that nothing gets accidentally changed. LEDs: Turn off the LEDs on the microphone transmitters for a more discrete mic presence.

Live Stream Using the MOTIV Video App You can use the Shure MOTIV Video app to connect with Facebook or YouTube and live stream with the MoveMic mics with di rect to phone connectivity. This allows you to capture professional quality audio and adjust while recording as you stream to your live video feed.
Shure Incorporated Use the MOTIV app to live stream or to record videos. The app does not support simultaneous live streaming and video recording to the device. MoveMic Firmware Updates Take advantage of additional features and design enhancements by updating the firmware on your MoveMic product. When an update is available, a green dot will appear next to Firmware Update in the app settings menu. Follow the onscreen step-by- step instructions to update.
Tips to ensure a reliable update. • Ensure that the MoveMic and mobile device are powered on and near to one another until the process is complete. • Using the product or mobile device while downloading may slow or cancel the update process.
