Operation
Read the original manual before using your device.
Proceed as instructed in the manual and keep it for later reference, or for third parties to whom you may sell the device.
This machine is intended for floor cleaning and can only be used on flat surfaces.
- The device can be easily adapted to the respective cleaning task by adjusting the water and the amount of cleaning agent.
- The detergent dosage can be adjusted by adding it to the tank.
- A 500-mm working width allows effective application over a long usage period.
- The device is manually advanced, supported by brush rotation. The brush drive is powered by two batteries.
- The device is equipped with a clean water tank and a waste water tank (50 liters each). In this way, effective cleaning is ensured, combined with long range.

Proper Use
Use this device only as directed in these Operating Instructions.
- The device may only be used for cleaning smooth floors that are not sensitive to moisture and polishing operations.
- The device is not suitable for cleaning frozen grounds (e.g., cold stores).
- The device may only be equipped with original accessories and spare parts.
- The device is not suitable for use in potentially explosive environments.
- The device cannot be used to collect flammable gases, undiluted acids, or solvents.
Such products include gasoline, color thinner, or heating oil, which can generate explosive mixtures when mixed with the aspirated air. Do not use acetone, undiluted acids, and solvents, as they may degrade the materials used in the device.
- The device is approved for use on surfaces with the maximum gradients found under "Technical Data."

Before Startup
Unloading
- Use the lifting point to remove the device from the pallet.
- Remove the chocks in front of and next to the wheels.
- Push down the device holding the push handle and push it forwards up to the pallet edge.
- Lift (remove) the device off the pallet and set it on the floor.
Mounting the Suction Bar
- Insert the vacuum bars into the suspension in such a manner that the profiled sheet is positioned above the suspension.
- Tighten the wing bolts.

- Insert the suction hose.
Operation
ATTENTION
Risk of injuries!
In dangerous situations, release the safety switch/drive lever.
Filling Consumption Products
Clean Water
- Open the clean water tank cover.
- Fill with clean water (maximum 60°C) to the lower edge of the filling nozzle.
- Close the clean water tank cover.
Detergent
ATTENTION
Damage risk.
Only use the recommended detergents. With other detergents, the operator has increased risk regarding operational safety and risk of accidents. Only use detergents that are free from solvents, hydrochloric acid, and hydrofluoric acid. Pay attention to the detergent safety warnings.

Do not use highly foaming detergents.
Recommended Detergents:
For any type of application, the recommended detergent is: Kärcher's RM755.
- Add the cleaning detergent to the clean water tank.

If the clean water tank is empty, the cleaning head continues working without liquid supply.
Setting the Water Quantity
With the water adjustment knob, adjust according to the dirt on floor.

Perform the first cleaning test with a small amount of water. Increase water volume step-by-step until the desired cleaning result is achieved.
Setting the Suction Bar
Oblique Position
To improve the vacuuming result on tiled floors, the suction bar can be turned to an oblique position of up to 5°.
- Loosen the wing bolt.
- Turn the suction bar.
- Tighten the wing bolts.

The Suction hose must be mounted outside of the suction bar lift lever bracket. The hose must not be twisted.
Tilting
If the vacuum result is unsatisfactory, the suction bar tilting can be changed.
- Adjust the rotary handle to tilt the vacuum bar.
Height
With the height adjustment, the bending of the vacuum blades is influenced during contact with the floor.

- Adjust the height adjustment rotary handles until you get the best vacuuming result.
Cleaning

Risk of damage to the floor covering. Do not operate the appliance on the spot.

- Insert the end of the extension cable as a loop in the strain relief clamp.
- Connect the mains plug of the device to the extension cable.
- Insert the mains plug of the extension cable into a socket.
- Turn the program selection switch to the desired cleaning program.
- Activate the brush drive switch with both hands.
Lower the Suction Bars
- Pull the lever out and press it down; the vacuum bar is lowered.

- For cleaning tiled floors, set the straight suction bar in such a way that cleaning is not performed at an angle of 90 degrees to the joints.
- The suction bar oblique position and tilting can be adjusted to achieve better vacuuming results (see "Setting the Vacuum Bar").
- When the waste water tank is full, the float closes the vacuum opening and the vacuum turbine runs at an increased rotation speed. If this is the case, shut the vacuum off and empty the waste water tank.
Stopping and Shutting Down
- Close the water dosing knob.
- Release the brush drive switch.
- Put the program selection switch in the vacuuming position.
- Slightly move the device forward and vacuum waste water.
- Lift the suction bar.
- Put the program selection switch in the OFF position.
- Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
Draining Waste Water
ATTENTION
Comply with local waste water treatment rules.
- Remove the water drain hose from the support and lower to a suitable collection device.

- Compress or bend the dosing device
- Open the dosing device cover.
- Empty the water by pressing or bending.
- Wash the waste water tank with clean water.
Draining Clean Water
- Unscrew the clean water tank cover.

Transport

Risk of injuries! The device may only be operated for loading and unloading on gradients up to the maximum value (see "Technical Data"). Walk slowly.

Pay attention to the device weight during transport.
- Activate the transport caster, if equipped, located on the right side of the device by pressing the pedal.

- When transporting in vehicles, secure the device from slipping and tipping over, according to the current guidelines.
Storage

Care and Maintenance

Risk of injury! Set the programme selector switch to "OFF" and disconnect the mains plug prior to performing any work on the device.
- Drain and dispose of the dirt water and the residual fresh water.
Maintenance Schedule
Always after using the device

Damage risk. Do not wash the device with water and do not use any aggressive detergent.
- Empty the waste water.
- Wash the waste water tank with clean water.
- Clean the outside of the device with a damp cloth.
- Check the turbine filter and, if necessary, clean it.
- Clean the suction lips and the wiping lips, check their wear level and, if necessary, replace them.
- Check the brush for wear and replace it if necessary (see "Maintenance Work").
Monthly
Clean the seals between waste water tank and cover and check for tightness, replace if required.
Yearly
Have the recommended inspection performed by the Technical Services.
Maintenance Work
Replacing or Turning the Suction Lips
- Wear marking

The suction lips must be replaced or turned if worn to the wear marking.
- Dismount the suction bar
- Unscrew the star handles

- Move plastic parts away
- Remove the suction lips
- Insert the new or turned suction lips
- Mount the plastic parts
- Screw and tighten the handles well
Replacing the Disc Brushes
- Press the brush replacement pedal down until the brush is extracted.
- Pull the device back so that the disc brush is accessible.
- Place the new disc brush in front of the device, on the floor.
- Keeping the cleaning head lifted, move the device over the new disc brush and then lower the cleaning head.
- The brush fits into the drive.

Removing the Waste Water Tank
- Drain the waste water.

- Lift the waste water tank and put it aside.
Maintenance Contract
For reliable service of the device, maintenance contracts can be concluded with the corresponding Kärcher sales offices.
Frost Protection
In case of danger of frost:
- Empty the clean and waste water tanks.
- Store the device in a place protected from frost.

Safety warnings for brush cleaners and spray extractors
Before using this device for the first time, read the safety warnings and act accordingly. Save these safety warnings for later use or for the next owner.
- Carefully read the instruction manual and pay particular attention to the safety warnings before putting the device into operation.
- Warning and caution plates mounted on the device provide important notices alerts for safe operation.
- In addition to the guidelines in the instruction manual, the general safety and accident prevention rules in force must be observed.
Electric Power Connection
- The voltage indicated on the control panel must match the power supply voltage.
- Protection class I devices may only be connected to properly grounded power sources.
- When working with liquids (e.g., detergents), it is recommended connecting to a socket protected by a faulty current circuit breaker (max. 30 mA).
- Only use power cords specified by the manufacturer; the same applies to any replacements. See the instruction manual for part numbers and types.
- Before using the device, always check if the power cord and plug are undamaged. Damaged power cords must be replaced immediately by our Technical Services or an authorized electrician.
- The device must only be connected to an electrical outlet installed by an electrician, according to the IEC 603641 standard.
- Switching on processes cause brief voltage drops.
- In unfavorable mains conditions, other devices may be harmed by this effect.
- If the mains impedance is lower than 0.15 Ohm, problems are unlikely to occur.
- Never touch the plug with wet hands.
- You must ensure that the power plug and extension cord are not damaged by running over them, crushing, pulling, or similar problems. Protect the cord from heat, oil, and sharp edges.
- Check the power cord regularly for cracks or ageing. If any damage is detected, replace the cord before using the device again.
- When replacing couplings on power or extension cords, their water splash protection and mechanical stability must not be impaired.
- Do not clean the device with a hose or a high-pressure water jet (risk of short-circuits or other damage).
Application
- The equipment with its working devices, in particular the power and extension cords, must be checked for good condition and operational safety. Immediately remove the plug from the socket if the equipment is not in perfect condition. In this case, the device must not be used.
- If the device has a socket, it may only be used to connect accessories and special devices mentioned in the instruction manual.
- The water level limiting device must be cleaned periodically and checked for possible signs of failure.
- The device is not a vacuum cleaner! Do not vacuum more liquid than sprayed. Do not use the device to vacuum dry dirt!
- The device is not suitable for vacuuming dust that is harmful to health.
- Never spray or vacuum explosive liquids or powders, flammable gases, or undiluted acids and thinners. These include gasoline, paint thinners, or fuel oil, which can form explosive gases or mixtures when mixed with the aspirated air, as well as acetone, undiluted acids and solvents, as these substances damage the materials used in the device.
- Do not vacuum burning materials.
- Do not vacuum people or animals with this device.
- The device cannot be used outdoors at low temperatures.
- When using the device in hazardous areas (e.g., service stations), the corresponding safety regulations must be observed. The device use in places where there is a danger of explosion is not allowed.
- Use only the detergents recommended by the manufacturers and comply with the detergent manufacturers' application, disposal, and warning instructions.
- The recommended cleaning detergents cannot be used if not diluted. The products meet the operational safety requirements as they do not contain acids, alkaline solutions, or any substances harmful to the environment. We recommend that detergents are stored out of children's reach. In case of contact with the eyes, clean them immediately with water, and in case of ingestion of liquid, a doctor must be contacted immediately.
- When waste water and alkaline solution disposal, the legal regulations in force must be observed.
- This device is suitable only for the floors listed in this instruction manual.
- Protect the device from frost.
Handling
- This device must only be handled by persons who have been specifically trained to do so, or who prove that they are capable of doing it, and who are expressly authorized to use it.
- This device is not suitable for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities and by people with a lack of experience and/ or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for safety or have received instructions on how to handle it.
- Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
- Attention! Switch off the device immediately if foam forms or if liquid leaks are found!
- Do not open the cover while the engine is running.
- Do not exceed the tilting angle indicated in the instruction manual when you are on tilted surfaces both to the side and in the direction of travel.
Transport
- During transport, the device motor must be immobilized and the device, securely fastened.
Maintenance
- Switch off the device before cleaning or maintenance work and before part replacement. In case of devices connected to the mains, remove the plug from the socket; in case of battery-powered devices, remove the battery socket or disconnect the battery. The device must be switched off whenever you want to switch to another function.
- Repairs can only be performed by authorized technical assistance workshops or by technicians specialized in this area, who are familiar with the main safety regulations.
- Pay attention to the safety control in accordance with the local regulations in force regarding mobile professional equipment.
Accessories and Spare Parts
- Only accessories and spare parts authorized by the device manufacturer must be used. Original Accessories and Spare Parts provide the guarantee that the device can be operated safely and without faults.
Devices with Rotating Brushes/Discs
- Use only brushes/discs with which the device is equipped or that are specified in the instruction manual. Using other brushes/ discs may limit the safety parameters.
- Pay attention if the power and extension cords are not damaged by the cleaning head, i.e., by its rotating brushes/discs. can be operated safely and without faults.
Devices with Seat
- Devices with a seat are not approved for circulation on public roads. Consult your supplier to find out about equipment authorized for circulation on public roads.
- It is not allowed to transport another person in the device.
- Devices with a seat can only be operated from the seat.
- Please pay special attention to the safety warnings in the instruction manual for devices with a gasoline engine.
- Do not use the device without the protection structure (against falling objects - FOPS) in places where there is a possibility of the machine operator being hit by falling objects.
Battery-Powered Devices
It is absolutely essential to comply with the battery and charger manufacturer's instructions. When handling batteries, follow the legal recommendations.
- Never leave batteries discharged for a long time; recharge them as soon as possible.
- Always keep the batteries clean and dry to avoid leakage currents. Protect against impurities such as metal dust.
- Do not place tools or the like on the battery. Short circuit and explosion risk.
- Never work with open flames or sparks and never smoke near batteries or the room where they will be charged. Explosion risk.
- Take the utmost care when handling battery acid. Observe the corresponding safety instructions!
- Used batteries must be disposed of without harming the environment and in accordance with the CE directive 91/ 157 CEE or the current national legislation.
Devices with Tires
- To prevent risks, repairs and the fitting of spare parts may only be performed by the authorized customer service.
- For devices with bolt-on wheels: Before calibrating tire air pressure, check if the wheel bolts are correctly tightened.
- Before calibrating tire air pressure, check the correct reducer setting in the compressor.
- Do not exceed the maximum tire pressure. The maximum allowable tire pressure can be found in the tires or wheels. If different values are indicated, the lowest value must be observed.
