QUICK START GUIDE
FOR BEST RESULTS
Place your antenna as high as
possible, in or near a window.
For more information, see the STOP! sheet that comes in
this package.
Use the RCA Signal Finder App to find the

best location for your antenna.
In the Google Play or Apple App Stores, search for "RCA
Signal Finder" and look for the icon shown here. Then
download and install the App.
Launch the App and follow the directions there to find
the best location and orientation for your antenna.
Connect the coaxial cable to the antenna

and USB-powered amplifier.
Connect one end of the
provided coaxial cable to
the coaxial connector on the
bottom of the antenna.

Connect the USB-powered amplifier to your TV.
STOP!
Connect the other end of the
coaxial cable to the ANTENNA jack
on the USB-powered amplifier.

Make sure the amplifier is unplugged and
your TV is turned off.
Connect the coaxial cable from the
amplifier to the antenna input on your TV
or digital converter box.
FOR BEST RESULTS make sure you uncoil the antenna's
coaxial cable completely! Leaving any part of the
coaxial cable coiled will compromise your reception
performance.

Plug in the USB-powered amplifier.
If your TV has a USB power port, plug the amplifier's USB cable
directly into it for power.
If your TV does not have a USB power port, plug the amplifier's USB
cable into a USB power adapter (not included). Then plug the adapter
into an AC outlet.
Note: For best performance we recommend running a channel scan both
with the amplifier plugged-in and unplugged to see which set up gives
you the most channels for your area. See Step 6 below for information
about scanning for channels on your TV.

Mount the antenna.
There are two easy ways to mount the antenna.
Option 1: Using the hook and loop tabs

Option 2: Using the antenna's mounting holes

Scan for channels on your TV.
Most TVs have a channel scan option in their menu system, many
times in a SETUP or CHANNEL menu under ANTENNA.
For detailed instructions on performing a channel scan, see the
owner's manual that came with your TV.
Important: You must perform a channel scan to receive any channels!

Line up the antenna
and press it against the
mounting surface for 10
seconds. Let go, then
press 30 seconds more.
Insert two of the included push
pins into the two holes on the top
of the antenna.
