    1.1.2 Intended use, modifications to the device Intended use The SICHARGE D charging station has up to four outputs for charging the batteries of electric vehicles. The vehicle must have a CCS 2 DC charging socket for charging. NOTICE Do not use adapters between the charging plug and the vehicle You may not use adapters, for example, to extend the charging cables or to charge vehicles with an unsupported charging standard.
  • Page 8 Alterations to the device The operating instructions describe all permissible alterations to the charging station. Any other modification that is not part of this or any other official Siemens document is not permitted. This applies to both electrical modifications (connecting, disconnecting or swapping connections of electrical devices, etc.) and mechanical modifications (e.g.

    Electrical work may only be carried out by personnel that have been trained/instructed by Siemens. To do this, complete the training prescribed by the manufacturer. In addition, this work may only be carried out by qualified electricians themselves or under the direction and supervision of a qualified electrician.

    The charging station is supplied with replaceable lock cylinders (standard half cylinders (10/30) according to DIN 18252) and matching keys. In the "Locking system & replacing the lock cylinders" section of the SICHARGE D operating instructions, you will find detailed instructions on how to replace the lock cylinders.
