Introduction The DMX304 external detector provides reliable detection over 180° and exceptional false alarm immunity. The detector features four PIRs arranged as two pairs (upper pair and lower pair). Each pair provides 90° coverage via two independent PIR sensors with non-overlapping fields of view.

Detector Wiring The detector assembly may be hinged away or removed completely from the detector back to aid installation. To ensure that water does not get into the detector follow the dedicated cable route. Bring the cable in through the back following the route shown, piercing the rubber cable grommet to maintain a water tight seal.
