1. WARNING
• Always read and follow the operating instructions included with each component of a
welding helmet. The operating instructions contain important warnings and usage restrictions.
Failure to observe the operating instructions may result in injury or death.
• Continued use of an auto darkening fi lter that does not switch to the dark state can lead to
permanent eye injuries and vision loss. If the problem cannot be detected and resolved, do
not use the auto darkening fi lter.
• The Powershield Guardian ECLIPSE is suitable for all common welding procedures except
gas and laser beam welding. Using the product for these applications can lead to permanent
eye injuries and vision loss.
• Carefully examine the entire Powershield Guardian ECLIPSE before each use. Cracked, perfo-
rated or scratched fi lter cartridges or protective plates can impair visibility and signifi cantly
reduce protection. All damaged components should be replaced immediately.
• This helmet does not protect against explosive devices or corrosive liquids.
• Remove all protective fi lm from the helmet before use.
