OPMI® pico Preparing and mounting the stand arm Note The stand arm (suspension arm and swivel arm) comes with the light guide and the video cable (if ordered) already installed. 1) Remove two locking screws (1) and covers (2) from the swivel arm. Fig.
OPMI® pico Final assembly of the suspension system arm Halogen lamp housing 1) Remove the dummy cover or camera control unit (1) (disconnect the plug). 2) Pull two cables (2) through opening (3). 3) Insert the illumination module in the groove of the mounting plate installed on the stand arm and lock it in position by tightening four screws M 6 x 12 DIN 912-12.9 (4).
OPMI® pico Xenon lamp housing 1) Insert the new lamp housing into the slot and secure it with four screws M 6 x 12 DIN 912-12.9 (1). Note Apply screw sealant KL 44 to the threads of the screws. Fig. 6: Insert the Xenon lamp housing 2) Cables (2) must be inserted from behind (3) through the hole in the lamp housing.

OPMI® pico 4) Secure the two cables of the potentiometer and inclination switch in the indicated position (1) using cable ties. 5) Make sure that the shielding of the cables is in reliable contact with the housing. 6) Insert the wires of the two cables in ferrite core (2) and close it.
OPMI® pico LED lamp housing 1) Insert the new lamp housing into the slot and secure it with four screws M6x12 DIN 912 (1). Note Apply screw sealant KL 44 to the threads of the screws. Fig. 10: Insert the LED lamp housing 2) To facilitate installation, unscrew the housing by undoing four screws M4x40 ISO 14583 (2) and removing the side cover.

OPMI® pico 6) Attach the two cables with two cable ties (1). 7) Connect the 2-pin cable of the inclination switch to X14 (2) and the 3-pin cable of the potentiometer to X1 (3). 8) Attach the mounting bracket, the case lid and the housing cover.
OPMI® pico Installing the microscope 1) Remove securing screw (1) from the microscope shaft. Slightly lubricate the shaft. 2) If provided, attach the 120° coupling to the shaft (to do this, undo locking screw (2) and the securing screw on the opposite side, then retighten them) and firmly screw in securing screw (1).

OPMI® pico 13) Properly route the light guide, cables and video cable (if provided), form excess cable into loops, and secure them with cable ties. Note Make sure to route the light guide without tensioning and twisting it! Fig. 17: Route the light guide, secure with cable ties 14) Re-attach covers (2) and locking screws (1).

OPMI® pico LED lamp housing 1) Adjusting the line voltage is not necessary. 2) Plug the power cord into the power inlet and secure it in position using the strain relief clamp mounted near it. 3) Plug the power cord into a wall socket with a properly connected protective earth contact.
OPMI® pico Setting the inclination switch 1) Remove clamping screw (1) and cover (2). 2) Loosen screws (3) and adjust the switching cam in such a way that the inclination switch switches on the OPMI® illumination at the required tilt position of the suspension arm, or loosen screws (4) and adjust the microswitch.
OPMI® pico Installing the CCU 10.1 Halogen lamp housing Standard video module 1) Connect the CCU supply cable to X2 (1) on the 5V 400 mA PCB (1312-817). 2) Secure the cable using clamp (2). Note The shield of the cables must be under the clamp.
OPMI® pico 10.2 Xenon lamp housing Standard video module 1) Connect the CCU supply cable to X2 (1) on the interface PCB (304977-9300-000). 2) Secure the cable in such a way that its shield is in contact with housing (2). Route the cable away to the left.

OPMI® pico 10.4 Making the connections 1) Insert the light guide. 2) Connect the system cable to the CCU and screw it down, then insert the front connector into OPMI® pico. 3) Connect a monitor via a Y/C cable and switch on the monitor. 4) Plug the power cable into the PSU and wall outlet and switch on the suspension system.

OPMI® pico 12.2 Mounting the ceiling flange Note It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the ceiling at the site of installation is prepared in accordance with the instructions and specifications given in the planning manual. In addition, a power outlet installed in compliance with the applicable regulations must be provided in the immediate vicinity of the ceiling flange.
