INTRODUCTION

Please read these instructions carefully so that you are familiar with the MEZQUITA walker before using it:

  1. Remove the walker from its packaging and place the legs on the floor. Unfold it by opening the side frames until you hear the safety click.
  2. Adjust the height to the correct level. To do this, press the pin with your finger, extend the legs to the desired height and fix it.
  3. Check that the armrest and handle are securely fastened and be careful not to hurt yourself if they are loose.
  4. Make sure that the rubber non-slip pads on the feet are tight and secure. If they are worn, replace them immediately. Check them especially if the walker is used on slopes.

WALKING WITH THE WALKER

First, place the walker one step in front of you and make sure that the legs are at the same height. Hold on to the top of the walker by the handles for support and walk towards it. To fold, press the locking pin on the upper front tube and fold the side frames over the front frame.

INDICATIONS

  • It is designed to help the elderly, the disabled and people with walking problems to walk.
  • Weight capacity of 100 kgs.
  • Ensure that the walker is adjusted to the correct height and that the locking springs are fixed and protrude through the holes in all legs and the top.
  • Fasten all screws securely and tightly.
  • Before using the walker, check that the side frames are fully extended and locked.
  • Check that the ferrules and rubber handle are in good condition before use.
  • Remember that this product should only be used on flat, smooth surfaces.

TIPS AND PRECAUTIONS

  • Do not apply force on only one side or the walker will tip over.
  • Do not walk up or down stairs or steps with the walker.
  • During use, do not adjust the walker. Assembly and disassembly of the walker should only be done when the walker is not in use.
  • Do not walk on escalators with a walker.
  • Do not change the direction of the walker suddenly when using the walker on a slope.
  • Must be used on level roads. Do not use on bumpy roads.
  • Avoid hitting the walker against obstacles.
  • Do not walk with a walker uphill with a slope of more than 7 degrees. Do not walk with a walker downhill with a slope steeper than 15 degrees. When walking uphill or downhill, the lateral incline or decline of the slope must not exceed 3.5 degrees.
  • Do not hold the walker by the front bar or use it to sit on.
  • Avoid exposure to sunlight.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Clean the rollator regularly with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Store and keep the rollator in a cool, dry place and avoid excessive humidity.
