• If the helmet does not darken when an arc is ignited, stop welding immediately and
contact your supervisor or dealer.
• Do not immerse the auto darkening filter in water.
• Do not use solvents on the filter lens or helmet components.
• Operating temperature: -10 °C to +55 °C (14 °F to 131 °F).
• Storage temperature: -20 °C to +70 °C (-4 °F to 158 °F). Store the helmet in a dry, cool
and dark place and remove the battery if you do not intend to use it for a long period of time.
• Protect the auto darkening filter from contact with liquids and dirt.
• Clean the surface of the filter regularly; do not use any harsh cleaning agents. Always
keep the sensors and solar cells clean with a clean, lint-free cloth.
• Regularly replace the front cover lens, especially if it becomes cracked/scratched/perforated.
• The materials that may come into contact with the wearer's skin may cause allergic reactions.

COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
• Uneven darkening
The headband has been set unevenly and the eyes are not an equal distance from the
filter lens. Reset the headband to reduce the distance from the auto darkening filter.
• The auto darkening filter fails to darken or flickers
1 The front cover lens is dirty or damaged. Replace the cover lens.
2 The sensors are dirty. Clean the surface of the sensors.
3 The welding current is too low. Increase the sensitivity level.
4 Check the battery and make sure it is in good condition and properly installed. Also
check the battery surfaces and contacts and clean them if necessary. Please refer to
the section "BATTERY INSTALLATION" on page 2.
• Slow reaction time
The operating temperature is too low. Do not use the helmet at temperatures below
-10 °C or 14 °F.
• Poor visibility
1 The front cover lens / inside cover lens and/or the filter are dirty. Replace the lens.
2 The ambient light is not sufficient.
3 The protection level is set incorrectly. Reset the protection level.
4 Check whether the film on the front cover lens has been removed.
