Suitable for mounting on a normally flammable surface.
Installation
1. Ensure mains supply is switched off before commencing
installation.
2. Remove the front diffuser from the body by removing the 2
fixing screws.
3. Release the gear tray by easing the plastic clips away
from the tray and lifting the tray.
4. Knock out the intended cable entry hole suitable for your
installation; Fit cable gland (if weatherproofing necessary).
5. Mark appropriate fixing points on wall or ceiling; check that
fixings will not impinge on concealed cables or pipes
before drilling holes.
6. Fix luminaire to the wall/ceiling using suitable screws.
7. Write installation date on battery and connect battery.
8. Connect the Live, Neutral, and Earth supply cables to the
fitting. Switched Maintained: Unswitched supply to PL,
switched live to SL. Unswitched Maintained: Unswitched
supply to PL, loop to SL. Non-maintained: Unswitched
supply to PL, SL unconnected.
9. Reassemble gear tray and diffuser.
10. Turn on the supply, the green LED will come on
indicating the correct battery charge status. When supply
power is lost the fitting will operate in emergency mode.
Attention: To protect the battery life, please disconnect the
battery if the power supply will be off for longer than 3 days.

for waste electrical equipment or a Civic Amenity site, or to a retail outlet from which you are purchasing a replacement.

important that it is separated from normal household waste and recycled in the WEEE chain

Note:
Testing
The emergency lighting must be inspected and tested
regularly in accordance with local codes of practice.
Note: for safety reasons, tests should be carried out
during daylight hours.
The minimum recommended test schedule is as follows:
After installation, allow 24 hours to ensure full battery
charge and then interrupt the supply; the maximum
duration time is 3 hours. Check that LEDs are still
lighting.
1. Daily check that the charge indicator LED is working.
2. Monthly, interrupt mains for a short period and check
LED lights.
3. Annual 12-month check, full duration test. Interrupt
mains supply, LEDs will light and should last for a
minimum of 3 hours of operation: batteries must be
replaced when they can no longer support 3-hour
operation.
4. Complete the record sheet on installation and retain it
in maintenance file.
5. Update the file with ongoing test records for
inspection by fire officers or other duly authorised
people.
6. The battery should be replaced if, after 24 hours of
charging, the fitting fails to light for 3 hours. The
battery should only be replaced by a qualified person.

Niet-dimbare armatuur. Geschikt voor montage op normal ontvlambaar oppervlakte
Installatie
1. Zorg dat het lichtnet is uitgeschakeld voordat u begint met de
installatie.
2. Verwijder de voorste diffusor van de behuizing door de 2
bevestigingsschroeven los te draaien.
3. Maak de mechanismeplaat los door de plastic clips ervan weg te
trekken en de plaat op te heffen.
4. Maak de voorziene kabeldoorvoeropening voor uw installatie
open; Plaats de kabelpakking (indien weervastheid gewenst is).
5. Markeer de overeenkomstige bevestigingspunten op de muur of het
plafond; zorg dat de boorgaten geen verborgen kabels of leidingen
kunnen beschadigen voordat u begint met boren.
6. Bevestig het armatuur tegen de muur/het plafond aan de hand van
gepaste schroeven.
7. Schrijf de installatiedatum op de batterij en sluit de batterij aan.
8. Sluit de stroomkabels Stroom, Neutraal en Aarding aan op de
armatuur. Geschakeld zelfstandig: Niet-geschakelde voeding naar
PL, geschakelde stroom naar SL. Niet-geschakeld zelfstandig:
Niet-geschakelde voeding naar PL, geschakelde lus naar SL.
Zelfstandig: Niet-geschakelde voeding naar PL, SL niet verbonden.
9. Monteer de mechanismeplaat en de diffusor opnieuw.
10. Schakel de voeding in, de groene led moet nu branden om aan te
geven dat de laadstatus van de batterij correct is. Als de voeding
naar de permanente stroomdraad PL wordt onderbroken, werkt de
armatuur in de noodmodus.
Let op: om de levensduur van de batterij te beschermen, moet u de
batterij loskoppelen als de stroomvoorziening langer dan 3 dagen
uitgeschakeld wordt.

Informatie voor de gebruiker van het product:
1. Hou bij het verwijderen van afval rekening met de regeling voor afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur, gescheiden van
gewoon huishoudelijk afval (AEEA, pictogram van een kliko met een kruis erdoorheen).
2. Neem uw verantwoordelijkheid op het vlak van hergebruik en recycling door dit product aan het einde van zijn levenscyclus in te
leveren bij een inleverpunt voor elektronisch afval, een milieupark of een winkel waar u een nieuw product koopt.
3. Deze apparatuur kan stoffen bevatten die gevaarlijk zijn voor de gezondheid en het milieu indien ze onachtzaam wordt weggegooid.
Het is belangrijk dat ze gescheiden gehouden wordt van het normaal huishoudelijk afval en gerecycled wordt in het netwerk voor
AEEA.
4. Het pictogram van een kliko met een kruis erdoorheen op een product betekent dat dit apparaat niet samen met het gewone
huishoudelijk afval mag worden weggegooid, maar dat het dient te worden verwijderd in overeenstemming met de lokale regelgeving
voor AEEA (afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur).

Testen
De noodverlichting moet regelmatig geïnspecteerd en getest
worden volgens de plaatselijke goede praktijken. Opmerking: om
veiligheidsredenen moeten de tests overdag worden uitgevoerd.
Het minimaal aanbevolen testschema is als volgt: wacht na de
installatie 24 uur om de batterij volledig op te laden en
onderbreek dan de voeding; de maximale duur is 3 uur.
Controleer of de leds nog steeds branden.
1. Controleer dagelijks of de led van de laadindicator werkt.
2. Onderbreek maandelijks de netvoeding gedurende korte tijd en
controleer de ledlampjes.
3. Jaarlijkse controle, volledige duurtest. Onderbreek de
netvoeding, de leds gaan branden en moeten minimaal 3 uur
werken: de batterijen moeten worden vervangen wanneer ze
niet meer de volle 3 uur kunnen werken.
4. Vul het formulier in bij installatie en bewaar in de
onderhoudsmap.
5. Werk het formulier bij volgende tests bij voor inspectie
door de brandweer of een ander bevoegd persoon.
6. De batterij moet worden vervangen als, na 24 uur opladen, de
armatuur minder dan 3 uur brandt. De batterij mag alleen door
een gekwalificeerd persoon worden vervangen.
