This installation sheet includes information on the NC-DPH-W
Conventional Class A/B Heat Detector.
The detector can be configured for Class A1R, Class A2S, or
Class BS sensitivity.
All NC Series conventional detectors are compatible for use
with Kidde Commercial NC Series conventional control panels.
Installation
WARNING:
Electrocution hazard. To avoid personal injury or
death from electrocution, remove all sources of power and
allow stored energy to discharge before installing or removing
equipment.
Caution:
For general guidelines on system planning, design,
installation, commissioning, use and maintenance, refer to the
EN 54-14 standard and local regulations.

Install and wire the mounting base, as described in the
installation sheet supplied with the base.
Installing the detector head
Insert the detector head into the mounting base and rotate it
clockwise until it snaps into the locked position (see Figure 1).
If required, lock the detector to the mounting base using the
screw provided with the mounting base.
Device status
The device status is indicated by the status LED (Figure 1), as
shown in the table below.
