About Amtrykes ® Amtryke, LLC is fully owned and operated by National AMBUCS™ Inc, a 501c3 charity. Amtryke tricycles are designed for people who are unable to safely operate a traditional bicycle. Amtryke tricycles or “trykes,” can be operated by feet, hands or both feet and hands together. A wide variety of models can be adjusted to fit the needs of different riders by choosing the optimal seat, handlebars, back rest and adaptive accessories. -

Step 1: Assemble Rear Wheels On Rear Axle Tools Needed: Adjustable Wrench Parts Needed: • Rear Frame • Non-drive Rear Wheel • Drive Rear Wheel • Axle Nuts (2) • Axle Caps (2) • Washers (2 • Locking Key (1) 1a: Install Drive Wheel Install Key Onto Axle On Drive Side (Right). - Page 7 1b: Install Non-Drive Side Wheel Slide Non-Drive Wheel (Bearing With Silver Ring) On Axle With Mounting Flange Facing In(Left Side). Install Washer Onto Axle After Wheels. Install Nyloc Nut Onto Axle After Washer. Tighten Nyloc Nut Using The Supplied Adjustable Wrench. *Note: Do Not Fully Tighten Nut Until Both Wheels Are Installed.

Step 2: Install Rear Steering Handle (Skip Step If Rear-Steer Kit Not Ordered) The Rear Steering (RS) And Rear Brake Cable Are Already On The Rear Frame. Loosen The Qr Lever On The Rs Bracket. Slide The Handle Into The RS Bracket Approximately 3”. -

Slide Wheel Up Into Front Fork Drop- outs. Once The Wheel Is Fully Seated Into Fork Dropouts, Tighten The QR Lever To Complete Installation. -

Step 6: Telescoping Handlebar Installation Open Quick Release (Qr) Levers On Telescoping Rod Mounts (Top Of Stem) And Slide Handlebar Rods Into Top Of Stem.
