AmTryke 2700 Series - 24”Model # 50-2721, 20” Model #50-2701 Assembly Instructions 1) REAR WHEEL DECK TO MAIN FRAME A: Main frame Sprocket a) Stand main frame upright. There is a slot on either hole slots side of rear portion of the main frame.

AMTRYKE. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Right rear wheel hub NOTICE: OVER TIGHTENING THE LEFT WHEEL MAY CAUSE THE BEARINGS TO BIND WHEN TRYKE IS RIDDEN. IF AMTRYKE MAKES A LOUD CLICKING NOISE WHEN RIDING, CHECK TO SEE THAT REAR WHEELS ARE NOT OVER- TIGHTENED.
AmTryke 2700 Series - 24”Model # 50-2721, 20” Model #50-2701 3) ATTACHING FRONT WHEEL a) Using a 15mm wrench or socket loosen the nuts on front wheel, but do not remove. Loosen nuts so that the threaded portion of the axel is visible between hub and nuts.

Slide the retaining link (resembles a figure eight) over the two exposed chain link pins. e) With open end of the clip pointing towards the back of the tryke, slide the clip over one pin. Align the open end of the clip with the other pin.

AmTryke 2700 Series - 24”Model # 50-2721, 20” Model #50-2701 c) Back Basket Wall The bottom of the back wall has two pins sticking down from it; install those into the two eyelets of the bottom. d) Right Side Basket Wall Slide the right basket wall into the back basket wall and basket bottom.

AmTryke 2700 Series - 24”Model # 50-2721, 20” Model #50-2701 6) Installing Handlebars The steering system has the following components, the stem (gooseneck) and the handlebars. You will need a 5mm and 6mm Allen key wrench. Steering Stem Steering Stem Remove plastic sleeve from bottom of steering stem.

AmTryke 2700 Series - 24”Model # 50-2721, 20” Model #50-2701 b) Repeat this process for opposite side. 8) Installing Rear Brake Cable a) The rear brake cable is already threaded through the points of the frame to secure it. You will be installing the brake cable into the rear brake assembly and into the front brake lever.

AmTryke 2700 Series - 24”Model # 50-2721, 20” Model #50-2701 2) Pull on barrel end of cable until three Cable barrel clamp inches of silver cable are exposed. Pull brake lever until barrel clamp is visible. Lay the barrel end and silver cable in the aligned slots.

AmTryke 2700 Series - 24”Model # 50-2721, 20” Model #50-2701 Attaching Cable to Brake Caliper 1) Thread Cable through large end of Cable Noodle. 2) Slide Cable Noodle through slot in caliper control arm. 3) Slide rubber boot over cable and onto cable noodle 4) Use 5mm Allen wrench to loosen anchor bolt.
AmTryke 2700 Series - 24”Model # 50-2721, 20” Model #50-2701 Adjusting Brakes 1) Using your hand squeeze the top of the caliper arms until the brake pads lightly touch the rim. Squeeze from each side in this direction. 2) While continuing to squeeze the caliper arms use your other hand and the 5mm allen wrench. Tighten the anchor bolt securely.

AmTryke 2700 Series - 24”Model # 50-2721, 20” Model #50-2701 10) REAR FENDERS a) Mount the reflectors on the rear fenders. Remove the nut and lock washer off the rear reflectors. Insert one reflector in each rear fender with the screw going through the round slotted hole. Use an 8mm socket to tighten.
