Operating Instructions Introduction In vehicle powered units, temperature control is based on two values: The setting (Setpoint) of the controller and the evaporator return air temperature. The difference between these two temperatures will determine the mode of operation: cool, heat, or null. C C o o o o l l : : When the temperature in the compartment is 3°F (2°C) h h i i g g h h e e r r than the setpoint, the unit runs in cool mode to reduce the evaporator return temperature to achieve the setpoint.
